Did your mother ever tell you not to play with your food? Well my favorite thing to photograph is food! We see it every day but most of us are too busy to stop and look at what we're putting in our mouth.

I work close up and use different angles to show food in a way that it isn’t normally seen. I love working with natural lighting. I find it brings out color and makes for interesting shadows and textures.

People need food to live and sometimes I feel like photography is that way for me. Art, like food is a very big and important part of my life. My food photography gives me the chance to express some of the every day in my life. Also I feel that sometimes photography is not about the camera itself, but more the relationship between photographer and subject.
